Roma by the Sea is a popup restaurant designed and executed with Alwan Flowers in Obhur, a neighborhood rapidly becoming Jeddah’s resort hub. The direction accentuates the “Amalfi coast meets Santorini”. A focus on serving an Italian coastal experience while highlighting the resort’s Southeastern European aesthetic. Watch Video
Moodboard and Color Palette
On the outside, the restaurant shades its diners under bright greenery and lemon branches that organically fall from the pergola. Diners enjoy their visit overlooking a poolside and beachfront view. Renders are showcased below.
On the inside, diners get a taste of Positano with auspicious blue Italian tiles lining the floor. Indoor greenery warms the space and brings the outside in. Renders are showcased below.
